[ROLEPLAY] Yurgh the healer, the ill priestess, and so on

Now that the roleplay has reached a point where the presence of an imm is no longer required, you can use it as a base to roleplay whenever you want (and I have already seen some of you do that).

That means that it's impossible for the imms behind this roleplay to follow up all the developments. So... it would be nice if some of you could send up summaries of how the roleplay evolved to applications@forgottenkingdoms.com. Please make sure that you include "ROLEPLAY - Demonbane" in the topic of your mails.

That will help us prepare for the future (whatever it will be). There will be a few days without any major events in the roleplay, to give you time to reach a decision on what to do next (or to spend some time with significant others).

Thanks for your help and participation.

The roleplay started yesterday will continue tomorrow, Sunday July 23rd, at 1PM CST.

It will end in time for those who wish to take part in the Umberlee roleplay happening the same day.

Rumour heard in Waterdeep...
There was a man on the Market Square the other day, completely clad in golden armour and proudly bearing the holy symbol of the dead Goddess Waukeen. He was visiting all the merchant booths and blessing both the sellers and the buyers. An elf approached him with a leather armour - perhaps to sell it - then the golden-clad man quickly left the square, saying that he needed to find an inn and rest for a while.

Since the server is to be shut down for 24 hours, the roleplay obviously can't take place.

Going to post three options to continue it. If you were involved in the rp that was paused, please send me a mail to builders@forgottenkingdoms.com indicating which option you prefer, which ones would not work at all for you, and so on. I'll post the result in this thread in another 8 hours or so (if I got enough answers).

A - Tomorrow (Tuesday), 2PM CST (same time as in the post above)

B - Wednesday, 2PM CST (same time as in the post above)

C - Thursay, 2PM CST (same time as in the post above)

The sooner, the better, so we can conclude this part of the roleplay.

Amongst the answers I got, three players can't make it Tuesday, and only one can't make it Wednesday.

So... we will continue the roleplay on Wednesday, 2PM CST (option B above).

Just in case anyone's uncertain as to what time that is in their neck of the woods, please consult

Rumour has it that a tall blue-skinned creature was seen around the Font of Knowledge and the noteboard recently.

I would like to continue this roleplay (at least a part of it - concerning a group that gathered in the garden of the Fellowship) tomorrow European-evening.

That would be somewhere around http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/f ... ec=0&p1=48.

For this first part, it is necessary that all members of that group be online. If you cannot be online at that time, please drop a mail to builders@forgottenkingdoms.com.

Alright. It looks like it is a bad time for several of those in the roleplay. What about the same time, but one day later (i.e., on Saturday)?

That would be: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/f ... ec=0&p1=48

As usual, if you cannot make it, please send a mail to builders@forgottenkingdoms.com.

Ok, last attempt. One day later (on Sunday). I hope that we will be able to make it this time.

That would be: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/f ... ec=0&p1=48

Sorry for those who might have made arrangements to be free on Saturday.

If you really cannot make it at all, please send me a mail as soon as possible, so I can post about it.

Instead of suggesting a fixed time, I'm going to try and use another method.

Can each of those in that group send me a mail (not PM, a mail) detailing what day might be a good day for this roleplay, in the following days (let's say Monday up to next Sunday), assuming that the roleplay starts around the time suggested above.

If you can only start later than that time on a given day, please say so (well, write so).

E.g. Mon - ok
Tue - can't make it at all
Wed - can't make it at all
Thu - I can get online only two hours after the set time.
Fri - can't make it at all
Sat - ok
Sun - ok

I got mails from only 4 or 5 players, so I am not sure about the other yet. From what I have been told, the week days will not work. I would prefer to avoid postponing the beginning of the roleplay to the next week-end, or we will never be done by the end of August.

I'll try and be online later today, and see who is online. If enough characters are online, we might try and start the roleplay today. So... no set plan yet. We'll see.

I still haven't got mails from all the members of the group. Not that it would help much... it's already hard/impossible to find a day where everybody is free.

So... I'm not sure what to do. Maybe remove the hour restriction and see if that helps... though the US evening would most likely not work either, since that means very very early in Europe. Suggestions are welcome.

Maybe going so far as to have it organised completely a week in advance? Let people (if they have flexible jobs) see if they can take say, Tuesday 'stead of Wednesday, or whatever. But then, I could see that being a pain, because its a game rather than a schedule.

Its complicated. I'll think some more on it. But thanks for your effort in trying to organise it.

Isn't it possible to simply omit those who aren't sending you emails, in favour of those who do?

I'll try and log in later today to see who is online. If all the members of the non-Ardeep group are online, we'll start on the roleplay. If not... well, we'll have to discuss and see how to go about it.

No luck today. I'll try again tomorrow (sunday).

If you can, please try to be online around

If you see this post soon enough, feel free to drop me a mail to builders@forgottenkingdoms.com indicating whether or not you can make it.

Alright.

Next options are: next Saturday and next Sunday.

Please send me a mail indicating whether you are free on each of those days (same time as above). That's one week forewarning, so I hope that it will be possible to free up some time.

I got 5 answers, and I am still waiting to hear from the 4 other players. It looks like it might happen on Saturday.
