I was wondering what happened to supplicate avatar.

It was removed along with the option to recover your corpse through supplications which had been disabled even earlier than that. It makes sense though, avatars of a diety should only manifest when a diety is there to control them in my opinion, though they could have been removed for other reasons ranging from abuse to misuse. I might be off though. I believe the option to call down an avatar was removed from the helpfile.

Yes it was removed from the helpfile, and that is what triggered my question. I remember being able to train skills and spells off of the avatars during their duration.

I think it is safe to assume with the inclusion of the domain spell functions, that the need to train special spells off of avatars has been rendered obsolete. However, this might not be so, it might be a different matter all together, my advice would be to go with the flow or to volunteers to create new quests where one is rewarded with an audience with an avatar to train from. That would certainly be fun if you wanted to.

That's a pretty good idea, maybe train domain spells. Or something that is relevant to the deity.
