Another Call to Bards and Artists

The Waterdhavian Museum of Knowledge announces the following extensions.
1. an alcove in the Recent History Hall devoted to the rescue of Waukeen.
2. an alcove in the Recent History Hall devoted to the Shielding of Ardeep.
3. a library with books about all the deities
For (1), we seek to commission a bard or artist for a painting depicting the rescuers of Waukeen [not ASCII art, but a text] as well as a short text to be displayed on a nearby descriptive plaque.
For (2), we have already commissioned Hilmer for a replica of the focuses used for the shielding, but we are still looking for a bard or artist to write a short descriptive text to appear on a plaque.
For (3), we would seek to acquire a book for each of the deities currently represented in the Museum. For some deities, such books already exist, but we would like to obtain a complete collection. We seek to hire someone to oversee the project and gather a complete collection of the books. The task of this person would include (1) listing the books that are already available and (2) finding writers interested in writing the missing books.
If you are interested in helping with either (1), (2), or (3), please post below.

You have it.
Books about the following deities are required:
Code: Select all
Bane, Beshaba, Chauntea, Corellon, Cyric, Garl, Gond, Gruumsh
Helm, Ilmater, Kelemvor, Lathander, Lloth, Loviatar, Malar, Mask
Mielikki, Moradin, Mystra, Oghma, Selune, Shar, Sune, Talona
Talos, Tempus, Torm, Tymora, Tyr, Umberlee, Waukeen, Yondalla
Minor gods: Auril, Deneir&Milil, Lliira, Silvanus&Eldath, Azuth, 4elemgods, Finder, Eilistraee
Dead gods: Bhaal, Mystryl, Myrkul, Amaunator, Leira, Moander, Tyche
Monster gods: Kurtulmak, Tiamat, Maglubiyet, Yeenoghu
Note that, as pointed out above, some deities already have books written about them, so make sure you contact the church first. The new books should be submitted as normal publications.
Important: If you feel like writing one of those books, make sure that you contact Katiena in game first! If you do not meet online, there's always the Magical Post.
Note: Still looking for (1) and (2)!

I would like to have the books e mailed to me first and I will send it to publications (you will get full credit... not trying to steal your work) so i can look it over and check it out
OR at lease CC it to me so that I know they have been completed and I can scratch it off my list.
ian.waugh@gmail.com
title it BOOK <deity>
Unless Dalvyn has something better in mind...
P.S. They are first come, first serve on the Deities. Contact Katiena any way possible. I like the magical post idea.
Remaining Deities... are as followed. These are the deities that no one has asked or offered to do... Please check back for the updates

As Dalvyn says though, don't forget that some churches already have relevant books published. It might be worth finding out which have not first of all, as it wouldn't be fair on the original author to over-write them out of hand.

I would prefer to see all this done IN GAME rather than through mails, PMs, and other OOC tools.
This is an opportunity for roleplay, so why not take it?

It would likely be necessary to have an Oghman or at least someone neutral doing the collecting, if it's all in character-- I suppose it might be possible to justify uncompromisingly, militantly good characters going after books on admittedly evil gods from admittedly evil people, but I imagine such justification would be very hard to come by-- not to mention the evil folk approached would have every reason to wonder what the real reason was that they were being contacted in a civil manner.

Vindur offers himself to write the text that is going to appear on the plaque under the replica of the focus.

You are on it.
Gather information ICly about the event, sum it up on the plaque text (you can refer to the focus in the text if you want: they will be in the same room). And, when you are done, mail the text at the publication address !
Still looking for a painting and descriptive plaque for "the rescue of Waukeen". The two bards who are working on the book might perhaps start with this smaller work?

But of course, Kelvan will be happy to do that since Laitaine doesn't paint
If I caught that the two bards meant are Laitaine and Kelvan
