Bullheaded - Catch-22??

Post by Mingus » Tue Aug 26, 2003 5:34 am

To even recieve Bullheadedness you have to be from MH, a lawful good town. Yet the feat is for demand, and evil act. Is something amiss? A catch-22 if I ever saw one. Is it the curse of MH, dwaves from ther start out good but eventully turn to the darkside... Image conjures up an unimpressive 3 foot Darth Vader beckoning a young dwarf... Oh well just find this one a crack up.

I don't think demand has to be looked at as indefinately evil. Dwarves are gruff and brash, and although some dwarves are butts, they're still good at heart ( most of them anyway ).

Good at Heart

Post by Blug » Thu Oct 30, 2003 4:08 am

most dwarves are good at heart, but I really can't see an ale swilling, 4 foot tall dwarf with a gigantic axe asking very kindly if he can borrow something, I'd think it would wind up being something more along the lines of "Ey, lemme see dat fer a secon'." Least that's how I would picture it being. I think that demand is more IC for dwarves to use rather than request.

I agree.....demanding something isn't an evil act. The nicest person can demand something from another when like Blug said, they've had a couple rounds or they've tried to be nice about it. So, it's not evil so to speak. :)

Ooohhh.. but the RP possibilities... Good dwarf goes bad, thrown out of the Halls.. do somthing truly heroic to earn your way back... it boggles the mind, don't it? Maybe put in an RP applicaton to help it along.... spread the word of your chosen diety or somesuch.. hmmm...<grins a Big Ole Belose Grin> :D Hmmmm....
