Whats the ritual to convert a drow to a drider? Is it divine(priestly) of a an act of the weave?(Wizardy) Is it to the scale of a wish spell or just a regular polymorph? Is it just drow that can be converted or all elves or all humanoids? Would a high priestesss(archmage) be granted that? Or is it groups spell, a circle of high casters?

Driders are created by the drow's dark goddess, Lloth. When a dark elf of above-average ability reaches 6th level, the goddess may put him or her through a special test. Failures becme driders.
Because they have failed their goddess's test, driders are outcasts from their own communities. Drow and driders hate one another passionately.
Thats from the drider entry in the 3rd edition Monster Manual. So it would be a divine curse from Lloth.

I have also known non-drow to be turned into driders, because they did something to upset Lloth, or earned her displeasure.
