I was wondering if there could be a skill, perhaps spell, allowing people to communicate without an amulet of communication? Perhaps the use of the amulet would remain a constant mana loss, where as a GM in this skill would be quiet less. Journeyman/adept would be about the same as using the amulet.
This also might let people control their mind a bit more, thus losing the negative affect of wearring the amulet.
Perhaps this is getting to close to psionics. But it could be a spell like dream, but their only awake... As I've maybe used Dream 5 times in my 1200+ hrs on Cret.
