Could be possible modify the code of the guard in Westgate, so he will allow free entry to characters from Westgate?

A player will say a phrase that has a keyword that on saying it checks if the player's character has Westgate as hometown, and if it is true it produces the same result as if you had given him the money, otherwise the guard says to the character that he isn't from Westgate and that in order to enter he must pay.

That will be done, if you send a mail to the builders address about it.

I believe that it is already set that they WOULD let a native of Westgate in for free... IF the "if hometown" if check were working.

This was bugzilla'd a good while back. As far as I know, it still doesn't work?

Change the If hometown == Westgate to If hometown == 9492 and it should work.

Searched and actually reading ever single bugzilla posting title, yielding nothing on an if hometown check. If it was masked in another bug report, it may have been lost when the main bug in the report was resovled.

If you find the bug number can you post it Kregor?

This would be an area code issue, and hence not Bugzilla material...as Dalvyn says, an email to fkbuilders@lists.skynet.ie would be just the ticket here!

Alvirin, could you send a message to that address, with the text of your request, as well as, perhaps, Japcil's fix, namely:

Change the If hometown == Westgate to If hometown == 9492 and it should work.

It is hard code actually since the if check isnt functioning properly.

How it is currently is supposed to work, but ony the vnums work currently.

I can't find it either. Post it if you would please, as it would be nice to be able to target the if check by city name
