Anythings possible however most likely it wouldn't be until saves/resistances are revised, which is still in discussion stages last I knew.

Yeah there are a few races that were placed in there so that most of the work is done ahead of time. Another race like that is Deep gnomes, and theres a few more. But there coming. :)

Don't take this as a definitive statement...

but equally... don't assume that all of the races coded will be introduced into the game. We reserve the right not to introduce unbalancing or one-dimensional races.

Oh, no i don't expect more or even mean to suggest more. I simply did a read on them on the help file and was wondering if I could actually create one. So i went to go create one and I happily saw them as a choice but then I noticed the red star beside them and looked below to notice the not coded yet statement.

That is why I asked to see when they would be coded. I took the statement that they are in the process.

As an option, would it be possible to simply create a tiefling that has either a sunelven father or a sunelven mother?

Not that I would support those mixes, elves need to remain pure ;)

I was under the opinion that the race was already coded, but was awaiting a home town (see the builers forums) before being introduced.

Saying this, if the race specifically adheres to the PGtF it will unbalance the MUD, Fey-ri are a -very- strong race, as noted by the level adjustment...

They could be toned down, perhaps just modifying the tiefling race. Thus allowing the Fey-ri racial RP, but without unbalancing the MUD too much..

Another race option that has a high "coolness" factor.

Actually, the race is waiting on the associated area code to be added to the character generation process... but it's not something that I've considered to be very high in priorities. I can see several problems with adding this race, and not really that much benefit.

Was wondering if I was the only one with concerns about this race being playable...

The way I see it, genetically, is that Yzelle could, with a full blood elven partner, have about a 50% chance to conceive a Fey'ri, so maybe someone could step up to play her offspring... WHEN she were to conceive.

I would need said elf sire, though... takers? :)
