Glory is generally related to Heroes. People that have earned praise and recognition. This is generally considered a positive word. I think 'Prestige' is a better word for what characters gain by doing these favors for different people.

Per dictionary.com:

1. reputation or influence arising from success, achievement, rank, or other favorable attributes.
2. distinction or reputation attaching to a person or thing and thus possessing a cachet for others or for the public
