I know a lot of changes are going on in other areas of the MUD, and this little list of suggestions might not have time to be looked at, however, I really feel that this skill needs something done for it. Shapechange as it is is a wonderful RP tool, a very versatile travelling method, and just fun; however, I feel that it does very little for the druid as far as combat goes. Now, I realize that those other tools outweigh this small complaint, but I was really wondering if there was any way to make the animals a druid can turn into any more powerful. In DnD, wild shape can make the druid quite the formidable opponent, even without his/her spells. I suggest this combat enhancement solely for the reason that I like RPing as my druid while shapechanged, but I can't utilise this other than in a peaceful RP situation, which is not always present. Either way, I know there's a lot going on right now, and if this suggestion needs to be put on the back-burner (or just isn't well-liked), I can understand.


P.S. - Give Druids Treant form. I'm dyin' for that.

They seemed to have removed some of the things you *uses* to be able to change into. Before when you reached master/grandmaster rank with your shapechange you could also change into griffon/pegasus/owlbear. Personally I think some of these bigger more powerful forms should be returned to us to be used when one has the proper skill level for shapechange. It is hard to work up your shapechange to master/grandmaster so why not give some new forms when you get there? Please?

Shapechange is one of those spells that, now that we have upgraded the combat system, I would suggest needs to be reexamined. However, it will also need to be subject to the new saves/resists coming in as well.

So, I would think a reexamination is in order, after all the parts of what makes a race, a race are in and refined. My thoughts.

I can also agree with that. As long as it is eventually revamped; it just seems a little sore right now. However, shapechange does not typically grant races that would deserve resistances. As of right now, I don't believe it does. (Treants would get -slashing, but we don't get them.) As for other natural animals, I'm not quite sure.
