This spell tranforms the caster's hand into a thorny fist of magically hardened iron wood that bears many thistles, covering from his hand up to his elbow. Futhermore, any attacks made with this appendage can hit any creature that can normally be struck by magical weapons. Successful attacks with the thistlefist cause 1d4 points of damage + 1 point of damage per level of the caster. This is from the greater amount and sharper thistles of a higher level priest.
These magical thorns appear and function normally despite any hand gear worn by the caster; thus, gauntlets and other hand coverings may be worn without effecting this spell in any way.
The material component for thistlefist is a thorn from a rose bush that has been rubbed against an iron wood tree.
