Bards and Charisma

Just a question that's been bugging me, if it's too IC then edit it please. With the Bard College, there is a charisma requirement in order to enroll. I was wondering if this was a base score for entry? For example, would a bard hopeful wiht a low charisma score, who wears equipment or spells that boost their charisma to enroll, be legal? Or would this be code abuse? I always thought the bard's personal magnatism is what should decide it, not the nifty trinkets you can buy.

I found when one of my characters joined a guild which required a certain constitution I had to have my base constitution up there and it did not register to items that boosted my constitution.

Well, I think the same should be asked about all guilds. :) Is using a stat increasing item code abuse for getting into ANY guild, there are many guilds in the game that require certain stats to be at certain levels. Not just bards. :)

From what Ive seen, these guilds require your base stat to be at the minimum standard to enter the guilds. THough i have not joined all of them..

I'm just asking in the instance of bards as I don't know if the other guilds work on base stats properly or not, so wouldn't be worthwhile posting on something I haven't checked out.
I seem to remember a while ago a bard hopeful being unable to enroll..but then could enroll after buying a couple of charisma-boosting items. That's why I was asking. If it works for just this one guild, maybe it's not code abuse?
