Dwarves, and miners in general, have used many systems to mark tunnels to inform other miners what metal/gem the area is set to. With the introduction of "crude signs", thanks to the Waterdeep election, marking tunnels with metal marker signs has become quite simple. Alot easier than arrowhead markers that seem to disappear far too often. I know by walking the tunnels I am not the only one that has taken to this practice. Between metal markers and warning signs regarding "what baddie is down the tunnel", it is a great way for players to help make MH a safer and friendlier place.

Any chance we might see be seeing signs, nails, and chalk sold in MH in the near future?

Signs, nails, and chalk are already sold in MH. I have bought them there. Ask around IC, the vendor is down there.

Dang it... All those trips to Waterdeep for more chalk wasted!

Now that I know they are there, its fairly easy to find the vendor... especially now, hehe.
