[command]summon familiar

Just sitting here praising Gond and eatting carrots when a thought struck me....
Familiars. As far as Ive noticed they no longer have the ability to track, follow, and locate their masters if left behind. While we don't have the ability to cast through our pets or what not. If possible, for those of us who would like their familiar around (even if the cowards wont fight!) when adventuring, allow wizards the ability to summon their familiar.
I have several ideas on how do to this..
Alow wizards to assign a pet as a familiar.
Once said pet is a familiar allow them to summon them accross distances.
There is possible miss use with this so some rules might need to be enforced or code limitations to limit certin pets to be familiars and not pets.
After that I lost my train of thought.. Oh! Carrots!
