[EVENT] Competition for Fighter champion of Menzoberranzan

Lord Solaghar Xor’larrin has been the fighter champion of Menzo for many years however he has not returned to the city he claims to champion in years. Therefore I Yzdis Tlabbar faithful of Lloth do declare that he is delinquent in his duties to the city and a new champion should be chosen.
This is an opportunity for a warrior to receive great glory for themselves and there house in Lloths name.
Let those warriors who think themselves equal to the task step forward.

OOC:
The post will be open to any full blooded drow member of the fighters guild of Menzoberranzan. Obviously faithful of Lloth and house members will have an advantage but a commoner could conceivably win.
The competition will be held on a specific date and will consist of a multi round elimination style competition depending on how many turn up. I have not arranged a specific date as yet but am aiming for about a months time so that players can get there characters into fighting trim or dust of some there oldbie Drow. I will be running this competition IC as Yzdis.
The rules for the combat will be more guidelines, as we are dealing with Drow I expect a degree of cheating and seeking whatever advantage can be gained
The winner will be awarded the ring denoting the champion of Menzoberranzan and the glory that comes with that. He will then have the privilege of defending his position against all comers.
Could any interested players/characters register that interest preferably in this thread or IC to Yzdis.
