I know that thre are some people out there who can teach some of the trades such as mining or smithing. So why not add a couple moulds to make the heavy smith hammer and or the jewellers hammer. So they will ahve the proper tool when teaching. Since the only other way to get them is I think a quest for the same thing and you rather have the pc interaction?

The idea of the precision forge is to take refined metal of any quality and further refine it into the most pure components. This leaves and incredibly small amount of manageable material and allows for the creation of miniaturized objects. The problem with creating a smithing hammer is that it is also a war hammer, so its a crude weapon for beating metal into shape, The jewelry hammer on the other hand, is a refined hammer used in manipulating precious metals and jewels and is probably useless in a fight. I could see jewelry hammers being made in the precision forge. I'd suggest just having smithy hammers for sale at a smith or something similar. Jewellers hammer are coded to be the only hammer for the lapidary trade while almost any hammer in the game can be used for smithing.

Duly noted Master Gwain ^.^ as always. Making very much sense then the lapidary hammer? That thing is pretty rare and very limited to obtain. Hmm aye I found it silly the heavy wooden magical mallet from so and so place could be used as a smith hammer though -_- magical or not its wood!
