Events
Often we will hold special roleplay events to treat both the players and
the immortals. These events can take the form of a ball, or fair, or guild
hero celebration. Often we will put up limitations for who may attend these
events. In the case of balls to celebrate game aniversarys we require that
only good aligned, non trouble making characters attend. This is to make
the event easier to run and more enjoyable for all involved.
We also require that there is no self serving roleplay at these events. The
events are for everyone, and not a staging ground for personal roleplays. We
do not want the event ruined as everyone has to hover around one character
to cater to their personal roleplay.
Often the events will state that only one character per player may attend
and we enforce it. Other times it is not enforced, but we ask that people
still limit themselves to one character, and do not indulge in "alt hopping".
At many of these events, bards will perform. Often they will write a song
just for the event. We ask that players are polite and keep quiet while the
bard is performing. This means no socials, or says or other disruptive
activity during the performance.
Other events will be immortal run roleplays. When we run a roleplay it is
with the intent to include as many players as possible. Therefore, we
frown upon those who try to take over the roleplay and exclude others.
When involved in an immortal run roleplay, please take the time to
include others.
