   Jaenoic Jerald was born the fifth of six children in a small farming village.
Though her father was a Waterdhavian noble, through intrigue of other noble
families he fell on hard times and left the city. How she came to return to
Waterdeep is not a matter she openly discusses, though it is known that she
grew up in an orphanage of Ilmater between the ages of ten and sixteen.  

   She left the orphanage with aspirations of serving the Crying God, knowing
only how to use her hands and the sword and shield given to her by the
priests of Oghma in the Font of Knowledge. She found a calling in the
fighter's guild of Waterdeep, and soon acceptance into the faith of Ilmater.
With a passion to serve Ilmater and use her sword and shield to protect, she
journeyed forth into the realms. Over the years she would come to serve
Ilmater as a cavalier, a mounted warrior. She also found service amongst the
City Watch and the Lawmaker's council of Waterdeep.  

   One of her greatest exploits came when she traveled with the group which
would rescue the Merchant Lady, Waukeen. With them, she ventured to the
Infinite Abyss and the Nine Hells, amongst other outer-planar locations.  

   Despite settling down afterward to open her own orphanage, in more recent
years Jaenoic had received call from church and God to serve as a paladin.
She now serves in the order of the Holy Warriors of Suffering. She is a
devout follower of Ilmater and the Triad, a sergeant in the Waterdeep City
Watch, and a lawmaker of the city. In her aging years she tends to Ilmater's
faith and the Orphanage of St Jasper of the Rocks, as well as teaches squires
in the Halls of Justice.
