Syntax: list <object>
Syntax: list long
Syntax: list <shop keeper>
Use the list command to see what items are available in a shop. It will only
work during the shop's business hours, however.
* 'list long' will enable you to see the full description of the object(s)
for sale, without the price cutting it off. In a pet shop, 'list long' will
display only those mounts which you would be able to ride, were you to
purchase them.
* In order to see more information about an actual object, use
examine <object> <shopkeeper>.
* If there is more than one merchant in a room, you can see what is
for sale by a specific merchant by specifying their adjective after 'list'.
* You can not (currently) 'appraise' an item in a merchant's inventory.
* You can not (currently) 'compare' an item in a merchant's inventory.
* Items given or sold to a shopkeeper will be subsequently offered for sale.
