Ruins of the Old School of Wonder
The name 'School of Wonder' will be associated by most people with the
newly-founded School of Wonder that the Church of Mystra built near
Waterdeep. The name is much older though, as it first designated a very
renowned school of magic built in Amn. It is rumoured that this school was
destroyed by extra-planar creatures summoned by foolish students. Like all
rumours, this one must contain a part of the truth but the exact fate of
the original School of Wonder is still a mystery.
