Tanning
Syntax: tan skin
Tanning is the skill of treating skins from various animals and making it
into leather that can be used for clothing and armour. In order to learn how
to tan a PC will need to do a quest to learn the skill. The skill is not
learned with the train command but only by quest.
* In order to tan a skin, you need the skin and a jar of brine (very salty
water) in your inventory.
* The resulting tanned hides can be used with the leatherworking trade.
