At a young age Telnier's parents were killed and the family farm burned. His
mother was an elf, and his father was a human. The farm was on the edge of
the Misty Forest, and goblins attacked. Once it was all destroyed, Telnier
was rescued by gnomes. He spent 6 years in Golden Oaks under the care of the
gnomes. When he came of age he was taken to Waterdeep where he started his
training in the Font. He chose to follow the path of a ranger. His mentor was
Aldren Fellmane, a ranger and Needle of Mielikki. Needless to say, Telnier
followed in his mentor's steps. He joined the church of Mielikki and has
served in it ever since. 

Many of his younger days Telnier was found off with the ranger Ketlic Lohs,
or the Deathlord Rynn. The three of them found many many adventures together.
His younger days happened to be his darker days, sadly. His wild spirit often
took him to places he should not have been. Misguided, a spirit of war placed
him in situations that often threatened his life. He bears many scars, one
even given to him by the former Huntmaster Danten. Scars on his back are from
being kidnapped by Layna, Lathlain, and Zarafae. They killed his companion,
and beat him. He was dragged to Skullport, and placed in prison under the
care of the drow within the fighters guild. 

In his later years Telnier settled down, and married a breathtaking elf named
Yu'jie. Together they had a son name Ansr'vain. Telnier's thirst for
adventure settled, and his love for the forest, his family, and young rangers
grew. As the years went on, Telnier was asked to start training young
rangers. He relished the idea of passing his knowledge on to the young.
Serving alongside the Feywarden Larethiel, Telnier proudly taught many
apprentices. Then the church came to him and asked him to begin teaching the
hopefuls of Mielikki. After serving as a ranger for almost forty years, he
was asked to join the counsel and train apprentices as a master ranger.
