The valley of the gods
Hidden from mortals in a far away land is the valley of the gods.
Not seen by many this valley is a mystery to all but the gods. Not
even known to exist few dare to take up the adventure of finding it
and fewer come back alive. Many tales exist of the perils to be
found there, and it is said that those that make the trip have
the potential to become gods themselves. The valley itself is
said to be full of odd creatures and even odder places. The few
that have returned said that when they left they found themselves
somewhere in the Spine of the World. The Guardian within guards
the gateway that leads to the Portal, from the portal it is said
that one can continue on to the very places the gods call home.
