Yuirwood
Yuirwood lies in the east, nestled in a deep forest. The forest is a vast
area lying at the heart of a long peninsular jutting out into the Eastern
reaches of the Sea of Fallen Stars. It is part of the kingdom of Aglarond
and thus falls under the protection of the Simbul, one of the most powerful
magic users in all the Realms. The southern coast of the peninsular has long
been threatened by the Wizards of Thay, but the Simbul has provided protection
against them. It is likely that the ancient magics within the Yuirwood have
also played their part.
