Cret the Automaton Mage
Little is known about this gnomes past. He emerged from the forest around his
three-hundredth birthday. He slowly adapted to humanized civilization, taking
on many of their traits, until it finally drove him mad. His own madness
caused much strife across Faerun. Halting all trade with the dwarves. The
attack on a Chauntean Priestess.. and ultimately his own down-ward spiral
into shadows and magical automation.
Following his own Lords motto. He, with the assistance of Lathander, was able
to rise above his own self-imposed illusions, and become reborn and remade.
Cret now actively peruses faith matters, along with Artificer Arlen Kenth, of
Gond. He is a well known jeweler and craftsman. He is even better known for
his illusion craft.
