Batterhill
Batterhill is a small community on the outskirts of the Sunset Mountains, at
the eastern edge of the Western Heartlands. Without any functioning national
government, the cities, towns and villages of this area must see to their own
defense and prosperity. Batterhill is no different, and the people of
Batterhill are fiercely independent, valuing their freedom above almost all
else. Batterhill is known for its farming, though recently its exports have
fallen greatly from the past. A seldomly-visited city, little information is
available about Batterhill save that it was a goblin stronghold several
generations past. It was wrested from their control by a dedicated group of
adventurers and soldiers, many of whom stayed there to build a new settlement
at the edge of the mountains.
