Flee and Rescue

Syntax: flee
Syntax: rescue <target>

Once you are involved in a fight, you can't just walk away from it. If the
fight is not going well, you can attempt to
'flee', or another character can
attempt to
'rescue' you.

'Flee', if successful, will cause you to retreat in the direction from
which you just came. If that is not possible, then you will flee in a random
direction. An unsuccessful attempt will prevent any other actions during that round.

If you lose your link during a fight, then your character will keep fighting,
and will attempt to flee if you have set
'config -noflee'. If you have
set your
'wimpy' level to a value greater than zero, your character will
automatically attempt to flee if their health % drops below the
'wimpy' %.

'Rescue' attempts to place you in front of your <target>, taking the brunt
of the attacks against them. In order to
'rescue' successfully, you must
practice the appropriate skill.
