Nerian Xavril, Spur Lord of Thargate Keep
Though Nerian's appearance lends him to Turmish blood, his past is
shrouded beyond vague references to a Champion of Bezantur and the ruin
of the Ludis of House Xavril on its outskirts. Steeped in duty and
service to the Dark Sun, Nerian Xavril quickly rose the ranks of His
church, serving first as a shrouded servant sent to Waterdeep to under-
mine and convolute the law-abiding populace and, eventually, as Lord
General of the Ebon Spur, Cyric's feared cavalry force.
Overseeing from his offices within the House of Lies and Ebon Spires in
equal measure, Nerian Xavril's devotion to the One True God borders on
fanatical zeal. Charged with usurping the laws of Men and bringing strife
where he rides, he has grown the Church of the Dark Sun from one of
rumours and perceived madness to one of pure malice and strife. While by
no means chaotic in his crusade against Cyric's enemies, Nerian leads
with prowess and an unrivalled sense of fealty to the Mad God's tenets.
