Tower of Balance, Mystra
Easily mistaken for an over-sized wizard's tower, the Tower of Balance climbs
gracefully towards the heavens above Silverymoon. In addition to being a
center of worship for the area, this temple to Mystra serves as a school and
library of the magical arts, as well as home to many Shrines and Orders of
the Lady of Mysteries. The name reflects the philosophy of the temple, which
is to seek balance in the Art.
The tower's location in close proximity to the High Palace demonstrates the
high regard and protection the magical arts are given in the city. It's six
stories are constructed of the rare silvery-white marbles found in this
region and the building has been intricately adorned by both physical and
magical means. The Tower contains a branch of Mystra's Gifts and many other
wonders which are not to be missed during a visit to the region!
