Weapon Finesse

Weapon Finesse states that the feat only works with "Light Weapons". There's no description as to which weapons are light weapons. It makes sense that a person trained to fight with weapons of finesse, would know which weight, size and shape a "Light Weapon" would be. I had some ...

Seeming as I play a priest of chaos, I've been using Earth Reaver for a long time. I'm not the kind of person who looks for ways to "beat the system", so I've never tried the repeated Earth Reaver attack, except when my character was in trouble, and then it's just to get a moment to cast a...

Just a couple comments concerning Japcil's previous post... Alignment is roleplay. You do a quest that's not in line with your alignment, that's bad roleplay. It makes perfect sense that experience given from quests should be altered, not based but altered, by alignment. I also don't really apprecia...

Suggestions: 1. Definitely allow pcs to join guilds/faiths at level one - that's when the fun begins. 2. Exp for quests related to the pc's alignment. LE Quest LE pc = most exp NE/CE pc = greater exp LN pc = greater exp CG/NG pc = least exp LG pc = lesser exp 3. Greater exp for BLESS and REWARD comm...

I think Dalvyn had a good idea to remove the level restriction on faiths (I seem to remember trying to quest someone that was below level ten, but they couldn't do it.), guilds, and such - with exception of quests like Express Delivery that require an "experienced adventurer". Along the sa...

levels below ten

I appreciate that levelling takes some effort now, but I'd like to suggest that levels below ten be a bit easier. At level ten, everything exciting happens for you, like beginning your career as a fighter or wizard or in a religious order. I'm finding that it's very draining and boring to level to l...

I'd be all up for making the prayer buffer (is that the right word?:D)longer. I'm always having to send in more than one prayer to complete my prayer.

After those changes, Cret, do spells like earth reaver and sound burst STUN at all? Cause I've been smote rping that they do. Should I stop that?

As a side note, I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on the coded strength of spells in the game.

I think death should be done using the code: aka - killmode kill I enjoy going on killmode spar and smoting out a fight. Example: killmode spar smote lunges at $Bobby, his fearsome demonic longsword coming down to strike at $Bobby's body. murder bobby code stab code stab smote howls at the pain, a n...

Earth Reaver

It would be nice to see the code implement the full affect of Earth Reaver.

Meaning that if the save was failed, that person would be forced to sit down for a round.

I really like emrys's idea. Then someone with Speak with Dead could find out who killed a mob in Waterdeep, for example. I'm not sure if that is code possible though - sounds complicated. I roleplay a Kelemvorite and sometimes he feels useless. I think it makes sense that dead PCs can contact someon...

Sorry, I didn't elaborate. I just wasn't sure what to say. It simply isn't working. Scenario is that I cast silence on myself - I just got the Silent Spell feat, so I wanted to test it - and turn on Silent Spell feat and Still Spell feat, then I try to cast dispel magic. The echo I receive is this: ...

Got a question related to this.

I've heard some people can use Aggressive mode and/or Defensive mode without have either of the Expertise or Power Attack feats. Is that true? If you can use them without the feats, what benefit do the feats give?

Some notes from the 3.5 PHB, if anyone's interested: Domain spells are like a divine aura. The cleric is so much like their god, that what the god specializes in (domain) flows freely from the cleric. This is also a hint of how to roleplay a priest. A cleric is considered a spellcaster. A cleric cas...

Gods like for their follows to do things for themselves - so a similar saying goes. I think it's more that a god grants their priest power - the strength of this power dependent on level ("I think he's strong enough to handle this now.") - and it's up to the priest to develop it, explore i...
