As I was typing this I was wondering about the reasons elves get common - but I think that probably any elf who knew they would be spending time in a human settlement would make the effort to learn at least enough common to get by (and it's not like they don't have the time to learn it Wink ) I thi...

For the help polymorph. I was wondering will there be a list of available morphs in order of skill? Because to find out OOC what you should know IC can get expensive when IC you would ask the person you are learning the spell from what you can change into... Would be VERY helpful RP and IC ways... ...

If you simply go down in levels then you can regain stat points. Thus allowing people to die in order to max out all their stats. Actually, when you go down in level, your stat and feat points decrease at the same levels you gained them - i.e. if you drop from level 40 to level 39, you will lose th...

This idea was discussed extensively, here: http://www.forgottenkingdoms.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=5013&highlight=permadeath I remember reading about it here and there elsewhere, but this thread had most of the discussion. I think there was some talk particularly of new pkill rules down in Menzo ...

Are those real hints, because Blackstaff is the High Mage of Waterdeep, whereas Arumdia is the battleaxe Garl wears, and as far as Glamdring, I have no idea what that is. Does that mean that there is going to be a way to get some intelligent weapon in game? The hints mean that for enough glory we c...

Sorry, I meant ALIGNMENT, not charisma. It would be interesting to see a decrease in hidden alignment when an evil spell is cast. Whether a spell is evil or not is completely subjective and circumstantial. A magic missile used to kill puppies and kittens and children could, I suppose, constitute an...

Why? Charisma has no ties to the good/evil spectrum. Evil characters can be and are just as charismatic as good characters.

Mystra and Necromancy

I know that Mystryl and the pre-Midnight Mystra were both lawful neutral deities, and therefore most likely didn't have any qualms about the good or evil use of magic (just as long as it didn't endanger the Weave.) But with Mystra's shift to neutral good after the Time of Troubles, has this changed?...

Helm killed Mystra, in all of my research I've ever seen it's said that relations between Mystrans and Helmites have never been of a friendly manner and such. They're not faith enemies or anything. But if a FM told you otherwise, it must be. :) Just to clarify, it wasn't a faith manager, just a mem...

Same with Mystra and Helm. :O I asked ICly during the Mystran faithing process if the church of Mystra holds any hard feelings toward Helm, because I originally intended to work this into my roleplay, but I was told outrightly no - but I have seen different sources that say Mystrans as well as quit...

Half Drow have the blood but in most cases not the background. As has been discussed in other threads a fairly high percentage of half Drow are the results of raids and are raised in human or other societys. In the case of the game the home town of most half Drow is Skullport which is NOT a drow ci...

I looked into the references cited by the Wikipedia article on RPG Alignments, particularly the d20 System Reference Document available on the Wizards of the Coast website. http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20 Here's how it starts, bolding added by me: ALIGNMENT A creature’s general moral and pe...
