It's really nice to see Forgotten Realms being given the respect it deserves by being the first of the campaign settings to be updated. I'd agree, if the updates didn't look like they're going to be...horrible. :P If even half of that stuff is true I can safely say my tabletop campaign will never b...

http://www.gallwey.com/fk/board/viewtopic.php?t=999 Yes its in the testing phase on the tport. Parts of it are already in the real port, the parts that work that is. Sharni I don't know what the status is, but apparently there are some things in the game all ready to this effect, with more to come....

Okay, one thing I might consider to suggest, though, in light of the lower exp rewards, while training a young newbie character, is that perhaps we can also lower the exp costs for skill training, at least at lower ranks. As it is, learning aid a few ticks just cost me two thirds my exp to level 7....

I'm aware of one dwarven DOO-DAD of Mielikki from the books, though I've never ever seen anyone role-playing him. I ran into him once in game. But that was many, MANY moons ago. And Mielikki is largely considered part of the Faeruniun Pantheon anyway, so is generally more open about followers...

I'll try to find the article, but I could have sworn I read somewhere that Moradin does not accept Earth Genasi followers because he considers them some warped/perverted version of dwarves. Edit: found it. From the Sean K. Reynolds website: Moradin: The Soul Forger does not accept earth genasi as wo...

The focus has been taken OFF of getting that level and reaching that cap. I remember when Nedylene was first made High Priestess of Shar I spent nearly four weeks of consistant hack and slash killing to get the last three levels to get to level 50 because then it was required to be level 50. Let me...

Re: Guild spell lists
Greetings from an aspiring mage. I am having trouble locating a list of the different wizards guilds spell lists. I had once seen these lists in the web page guild help files and also in the in-game help files. These lists now seem to have disappeared. For example, one used to have the ability to b...

While I can appreciate that it can be challenging trying to travel the realms and learn one's way about as a truly new player, I never found it frustrating, just dangerous, and I don't think the leveling rate is too slow. I recall having far too much to learn from the HELPs and so on in the time I ...

Hidden Alignment. How in the world are we supposed to tell if we are playing our alignment correctly if we never know what our hidden alignment is? What purpose does it truly serve? I have -never- understood why it exists. Why can the alignment not shift and move if it's that important, based upon ...

From my understanding that is the reason, or at least one of the reasons, that a favor requirement was added for chaotic neutral alignment. People were using it to get into Silverymoon for training/trading, then going off and being evil, with the excuse that chaotic neutral allows for evil behaviour...

'help racesallowed' will bring up a chart of which guilds are available to which races. However due to the introduction of the new races/guilds and some other changes it is no longer up to date. At the moment I think trial and error is pretty much the only way to discover which guilds are available ...

Well, from what I've been told people have been having issues outside of the Temples. But also specifically regarding the Temples, while I'm not advocating being allowed to power level, as it is now I'd have to completely clean out the Temple through four respawns to gain a single level (assuming th...

Not sure if this is a bug or not, but has experience been reduced in the game? I've noticed it in the newbie temple, where I'm lucky to get 1% xp from a mob, sometimes it takes two or three, and I've been told by others that they have been having issues as well where killing multiple (level appropri...
