Heavy Heart
Hey Everyone, As some of you may know, I have had a number of health issues over the past several years. I was trying to come back to the game but in January of 2016 my life changed forever. I had an aneurysm caused by an AVM that was in my head since birth. We didn't know it was there, I was misdia...

Re: Player Status
Hey all, I've started to have most of my finger functions and cognitive thinking return. I'm hoping that I'll be able to return to the game soon if not already. The recovery from the brain surgery has taken a lot longer than I anticipated. I hope all is doing well and if I'm able to return I hope to...

Player Status
So January seems to be a very rough month for me. I ended up with major bleeding in my brain. I had an AVM and it's caused Aphasia. I lost the majority use of the Right side of my body and am fighting to gain a lot of memory back. I was originally diagnosed with migraines but boy was that wrong. Its...

Re: Player Status
Away but not gone.
Work pulled a big number on me and I've been working 80+ hours a week. It'll hopefully be calming down soon. As soon as it does I will be back in action.

Re: The Sunstar Companions!
I'd intended to be around today for whatever impromptu because it's the normal day - however there was a death in the family this morning. Apologies. Never apologize for missing game events over something that takes priority. I'm sorry for your loss. Staff members and players alike have things that...

Hidden/Invis emotes
There was a discussion about RP and those that hide and sneak and even use invis and some great points were made in this so I thought I'd take something from that and put it here as a suggestion for the game. Specific emote commends for those hidden/sneaking or under an invisibility spell. While mos...

Re: Sneak, Hide, and RP
Problem for the sneaks is... There's no way to tell who can and can't see you when you're hidden, and I personally would feel kinda weird if I succeeded spot vs. a sneak and saw them just standing there doing nothing at all. A hidden emote might not add something for everyone (sometimes even for an...

Re: Sneak, Hide, and RP
Some 2 cents thrown into this, and forgive me if it was mentioned prior, but ultimately if you're hidden and no one sees you currently then emotes or emote commands such as smiling wouldn't be used. It limits the rogue/bard/ranger from a lot of things but this goes into a discussion of realistic hid...

Re: Hobbies!
So Hobbies, I have several but some of my favorites are Writing (I really need to find time to pick this up again!). I've written some fan fictions like for Dexter about the character Lumen Pierce, and even had an article for a year called Street Sense where I gave advice to people who wrote into me...

Thank You to the Community
I really think this needs to be said, because it's something I really appreciate. There was a hard road back in the day for this game. Over a decade ago I was a brat entitled teenager and I acted the part. Today I find myself reminiscing of good times from this game. The hard work that went into it ...

Item Weights Re-evaluation
Now I realize this will take a lot of time and work, but it's a suggestion that might need to be made. I've noticed some items weight more than they actually should. Such as Bedrolls weighing about 15 pounds, and spell pouches weighting about 2 pounds. Pouches tend to be small things of cloth or lea...

Just a suggestion. Not a demand. as stated in original post I would understand if it was too much.

Surname Option
I know we've pretty much defaulted to using the Title command to give our chracters Surnames, but what about having a dedicated part of the character file for Surnames? This way if someone goofy like myself who changes their title doesn't forget or mispell their Surname later on. Just a thought, if ...

I'm referring to the actually starting zone being redone in general, but I do appreciate you for trying to help encourage looking around. Thanks!Larethiel wrote:

Re: New Areas You Would Like To See In-Game
I appreciate the interest in what people would like to see. :) Personally, I would like to see a more ECL friendly starting area for the Drow. It doesn't need to be like the Waterdeep introduction area, but it would be nice to see something that can help Drow level a bit better, at least to 10. It d...

Things that affect spell resistance would help with prayers and spells of that sort for example.

Re: Random Discussion on "Evil"
Heya, I haven't read through everything, so if this was brought up please forgive the repeat. I just wanted to throw in some two cents on a couple of things I read (Knowing that this thread is about a year old). It was mentioned that some of the best characters don't know they're evil. I have a pers...
