I'd just like to comment on the drow / dwarf thing. There is an example where a dwarf who at first distrusted a drow but became lifelong friends with one. Drizzt and Bruenor Battlehammer. So to say it's OOC for a dwarf to befriend a half-drow is unfair. People keep acting as though half-drow are fu...

My thoughts upon this subject are rather diverse. I can see where both sides come to their conclusions and understand their reasonings. Here is what I consider upon the subject though, taken mainly in the mindset of a GM of almost 20 years tabletop. 1. Lloth would look downwards upon half-drow much ...

why not just remove the ability for thieves to backstab then all together? I mean there is so many spells and potions and abilities already out there.

Be prepared with some of the other methods and it should be all fine.

I don't think limiting one dwelling per account is the best way to handle that. Maybe only let one character per account use the kismet to get the cost deduction because there are some people who have more than one character with over 1000 hours and they have worked hard to get the kismet and money...

Oh, another idea. Maybe making it easier to gain approval for dwellings, maybe make it far, far cheaper too, for dwellings in places other than Waterdeep. This would help to move player's RP to other locales, and if good PCs moved to Shadowdale, for instance, there could be interaction between evil...

Cunningham often twists things, I love her writing but she often never pays attention to details.

There is dozens of things within elves of evermeet that you can find.

But they are entertaining overall at least.

This is somewhat off topic but I thought it would fit in nicely. Apparently drow experience something similar to reverie, its called trance. I of corse could be reading to deep into this passage. I was looking at the entry for Lloth in Faiths and Pantheons and found it sais that clerics pray for sp...

I am not at all for the idea of "remaking" the character at the same level and power. Normally when someone dies in my own campaigns they are back to level 1. A character gains prestige. They undertake quests and encounters in order to gain prestige and indeed power and abilities as well. ...

maybe evermeet will but I doubt it. Still the tree of souls was brought with them so I fully expect them to bring forth a mythal there. As for other places that could see to be raised or fading mythals I think there is quite a few that could be added into the game I fully recommend lost empires of f...

I think people are very flippant about death in the game. I have raised dead and resurrected people and then they stand up, get dressed and a few just even walked off without a word. I have given little quests to folks after bringing some back and most of the time folk ignore them and seem to believ...
