I couldn't follow your logic, because you say something what i didn't. Anyway, lets see this: "Movement points are a different issue and I think that should be changed. " You agree, something is wrong with the system. But what, and why? We all were talking about travelling is too slow. Npw...

I disagree with this. FK is first and foremost a social game, where you are supposed to interact with others. Asking for directions is actually one of the easiest reason to start interacting with others; and 99% of the elder players will be more than happy to help a new player explore the city and ...

Let me say some thought. - Recall, raise dead, resurrection... they are all useless if you gain your first 10 level in newbie area. - Newbie training ground should do this: - tell you where the trainers in town are. - give you a backpack with a full set of newbie equipment each time you ask - tell y...

I disagree you in the point a and b. The loss of equipment is painful but you need to be used to it anyway. You can just run back for your corpse... you could, but the movement lag and ridiculously low movement points make it very unpleasant... For me, these points led back to the movement system ag...

I was level 5 in 3-4 hour, lvl 8 in 30-40, lvl 10 in.. about 50-60 hours. First of all, i don't gain xp in the newbie area after the first 5-6 level. In other areas i either don't gain coins, either getting killed. "t sounds like a tweaking of the caravan system might be in order. From my own e...

Please forgive me for my sarcasm, let me repeat it without any sarcasm: You probably think i believe i invented something new with the interactive question-marks, and you wanted to point the fact, you did it alredy. I didn't believe i invented anything. I have noticed the interactive ones, and they ...

Believe it or not, i am aware of it. A great deal of.. khmm.. 6 question marks are interactive, and about 42 are not.
It is up to you if you want to change it or not.

This is your mud, you can do whatever you want, but why are you trying to prove it is not boring, when it is and everybody know it is. That's rather pointless. "There is nothing wrong with just standing and waiting" Yes, there is something very wrong with it: it is wasting your time, what ...

Free Caravan rides for people under level 10? I hear you, you believe the travell wouldn't be so long and boring if you could afford a caravan. But it is not true, sadly. As a new player i haven't had any problem to afford a caravan, but waiting the caravan took as long as travelling by foot. Trave...

Longer learning curve usually makes players grinding. 50 level in 50 hours (50 hours grinding) is not something i would call fast. 50 hours grinding+ travelling + quests are good for 100 hours. 100 hours active playing, if you play 4-5 hours a day, means 20-25 days. You are distracted from RP for 25...

In opposition to you, i think a good fix is to modify the help files, and describe the accurate or less accurate location of the areas. Or modify the world map, the question-mark should display (if nothing else) the zone name.

Area description

The description of the area should give more hint about the location, unless it is a secret, hidden place. For instance i have had hard time to find Tantras, even with the help of a Forgotten Realms map what i downloaded from internet, because i am not an FR expert. My character is (he has map after...

As far as i know, everybody agree, that dwarves should be medium sized humanoid, so they should wield medium weapons in one hand. The strong arm feat is a workaround. That is why they should have it by default. About resizing weapon: Does resized weapon do the same damage? If yes, then why is strong...

This doesn't make sense to me. 1) I need to spend a feat to something, what i should have at start and i don't have it only, because it is too much work (medium sized dwarf). 2) I not only need to spend feat, but there are restrictment (alignment, starting location whatever) on something, what i rep...

I have read the previous posts, and i noticed i am not the first one, who think, the dwarven race differs from other small races: dwarves are excellent fighters, at least the description says they are. "This race has produced some of the most renowned fighters." I have also noticed, i am n...

In my (newbie) opinion, this mud is not overpopulated, and this decision even decrease the possibility to meet other players.
