I've had a few absences myself. In cases like that I just start a new character and run through the tutorial until I remember how everything works. It doesn't take terribly long.

Back after a long and busy week!

A workaround that I use from time to time is to emote with color codes: emote anoints {70}an ordinary longsword with {30}a leather-wrapped {70}hilt {60}with oil that causes the blade to glisten. This is pretty manual and easy to mess up, so not ideal, but it can be a good substitute in some cases.

I would love to see wall spells of some sort.

More a minor inconvenience than anything. You can meditate in the middle of casting, which causes the spell to fail: You begin to chant. > med You sit down, cross your legs and begin to meditate. I think this purpose is generally better served with specific items than a generic curse spell. Another player can't be mechanically forced to wear the restraints except through the power of roleplay or an appropriate program on the item, so if they're willing to roleplay being put in restraints I t...

Is midnight Sunday the beginning of the day (Saturday->Sunday) or the end of the day (Sunday->Monday)?

The Express Deliveries questline also sends you to Thrimba's for a delivery, which as mentioned previously is now locked away in the Halls of Justice. Perhaps Gisity at the Spires also needs a bag of flour?

I wouldn't mind seeing the School of Wonder's quests rewritten to avoid Waterdeep altogether. It might make it easier for... certain aspiring wizards.

The School of Wonder quest chain does lead to the House of Wonder.

The spellpouch quest in the House of Wonder has Umigot send you off to Thrimba for an apple dumpling. Thrimba now seems to be locked away in the Keep beyond the reach of mere mortals. Perhaps Umigot should recommend another apple dumpling chef, such as Gisity in the Spires of the Morning?
