Re: Zone echo for player activities
This feels like it would tie into spot/listen checks and would give those skills more use.

Re: Why thieves?
Heh. Too late. I'm eatin' dem cookies! I took the opportunity to combine two new things ... a thief and a deep gnome. Maybe not the best combination, but I'm having fun with it. Blingdenstone is exceptionally well done. It's an encapsulated area as big and as detailed as some of the smaller muds ou...

Re: New killmode
I like it. D&D spells that affect an area can hurt friend and for alike, but we have no ability to micro manage directions. The killmode group suggestion does enable combatants to 'aim' their spells away from an audience, so it has an if translation to the ooc code. I wouldn't have Searos blowin...

Re: Unseen keywords
1. have a command that will let you see keywords of an object, maybe even make it so you can modify the keywords you want, like a nickname system on LP muds. I can see a few too many problems with this. I could restring the keywords on my sword to 'puppy kitten flower' so if I get disarmed, no one ...

Re: Druids of Malar and Armor Pro
As someone who's played a malarite druid, I don't think there is any heavy armor I can actually wear barring one set in game. I say drop it to two in that feat as it should be.

Re: Underdark denizens, and the surface
As one of the active Deep Gnomes, I'll speak up on their behalf on this. Deep Gnomes don't believe in returning to the surface as a whole race, but individuals do wander up for purposes of trade and sometimes minor adventure due to curiosity, though they often return swiftly to the underdark that is...

Re: Berdusk Ale Run
Is that even a question? Of course the Dwarves didn't drink all the ale... It was the Dwarves AND the Halflings! That or the Garlites made all the ale invisible. On a serious note, that happens from time to time, I've saw a few posts in the bugs section of the forum and the IMM's get it restocked pr...

Re: The High Hunt
I'd prefer a fighter, ranger, druid, or paladin as the character someone would volunteer, since clerics and wizards would be near impossible to kill with only a dagger and no magic, and a proper thief would just never be found. Edit: Prefer mid to higher level characters since they'll last longer. A...

The High Hunt
Hear me Huntsman! Many seasons have passed since we last gathered, and held a test of skill and prowess for the glory of the Hunt! So I, Wyrmwood, a Huntlord of the Lord of Beasts, put out this call to all who will heed it, to join me and participate in the High Hunt! As per tradition, the quarry wi...

Re: Baldur's Gate - Enhanced Edition on sale
One day we need to get a few folks from here to join up on BG:EE and play through the campaign. As someone who's only played it a bit, I find the game much more enjoyable with more folks.
