Re: Fury and Forest Fires
Talos was close with Auril, had a flirtatious rivalry with Umberlee and a grudging alliance with Malar, who would kill him if he could. He also hated deities that promoted building, learning, nature, and the altering of weather. Chief among his enemies were Chauntea, Eldath, Lathander, Mystra, Sune...

Re: Soldiers and Scale-able Mobs
No offense meant, but I don't like this suggestion at all.
The moment you have able NPC followers around is the same moment you need less PC around your character and a way to circumvent you class' weaknesses without help from other fellow players from different classes.

Re: Resist energy spells
Yeah, I agree pretty much with it.
Also in D&D you have the spell "resist energy" which does just that, instead having resist fire / resist cold ....

Wizards: to specialize or not
Hi guys!
Honestly I have never tried to play wizards, and I'm willing to give them a try but I have a question that of course will be also explored IC.
From a RP-only perspective have you found enough differences between a mage and any other specialist wizard that warrants the specialization?

Taking a break for some time (sadly this time without holidays) as I'm in the middle of a creative hiatus, be back once it is sorted out.
Take care until then.

Re: Sneak, Hide, and RP
This is just my opinion; We should only RP what others can receive. Grinning behind a mask, combing a wet ball of hair while hiding or dancing the macarena as you sneak past a sunite ball are actions that most of the time you only will be aware, by RPing them you are forcing everyone to ignore somet...

Re: Scrolls
At a certain skill level in 'use magic device' I have managed to use a wand several times but I would also fail several times while when I had it lower it always would fail, so skill is a factor here.
I figure that with scrolls will be roughly the same.

Silverymoon merchants rename
Hi!
There are a handful of wandering merchants in Silverymoon that share either the same name or have one very similar to others. Could they be renamed so it would be easier buying/selling from them? When several of them are in the same place it's almost impossible to buy anything you don't want.

The black lizard
Ladies and gents Waterdeep has a pest Be known to all that on Sixthday, 25th day in the Month of the Rotting a large number of dead black lizards littered the streets of Waterdeep particularly on the vicinity of the market's square and extending as far as to skull street ending the trail by the grat...

Re: Using consumables from inventory
What I had in mind was enriching the combat, right now it doesn't make any sense using them in combat because you spend way too much time.

Using consumables from inventory
Another suggestion to make them more usable, being able to use potions/scrolls from inventory but not either wands or staves. Actually it can take several turns to drink a potion or reciting a scroll. Example: remove shield, wear potion, drink potion, remove potion, wear shield. Since when casting s...

Re: Adjusting consumables price
I always thought that those recall potions were for transportation. It takes 2-3 rounds in a fight to fumble a potion to your lips. If the fight is particularly hairy to the point you has to recall, you probably won't make it by potion. It's much better to utter a quick prayer and supplicate. That'...
