Re: Max level for ECL races
Wow, I just have to say, this discussion has peaked my interest. I have not mind one single bit with the ECL, having some kismet needed races, I for one believe some races should have something that sets them apart and the ECL for all races and classes would be interesting to see. I love to see thin...

Re: Eavesdrop
Thats what I said, they have access to skills that they should practice prudence when using because it is considered "Poor RP" and thus the same with other skills and spells. Polymorph for wizards, stealing from someone while in polymorph is code abuse, Wizards have find the path, some pri...

Re: Eavesdrop
Haha fair point Areia, though with this it is the one check rather than two and Larethiel there are some skills in the game that require some prudence and caution (ie: Rangers using hide in cities) but there are some things that rogues could use and eavesdropping is nothing more than a glorified ban...

Eavesdrop
Alright, so my proposal is this, since rogues can be a bit underpowered. I suggest the command: eavesdrop <direction>. This will allow the rogue to hear anything being said, perhaps when the command is entered a spot check can be made, and those that succeed will recieve an echo of <someone> is eave...

Re: Amending Awkward Group Interactions: Thieves
Huzzah, and Here! Here!
I honestly think rogue characters should be able to follow characters while keeping in sneaking speed. Amending this would keep with the sake of RP. All penalites and adjustments accordingly.

Alchemical Ritual Teaching with Scholar Feat
So I come to the board to suggest, Alchemical Rituals be allowed to be taught with the scholar feats. As of now, you must have the teacher feat to teach these amazing rituals that really celebrate and honor the elemental powers...>.> Anyhow, I would like to ask that Scholar feats be added to be allo...

Re: Exclude (name) - ignoring NPCs with AoE
While I appreciate the "escape" from having to worry about NPC's, this destroys the bystander casualties which many people have to take in account. There are not always going to be people on each side of the fight, with the caster or against. Magic doesn't discriminate, and these little ca...

Re: The Knighting of Squire Alinor Evanara
Gratz to Alinor's player, as Yemin pointed out, this type of RP is crazy intense, and something I myself have not been able to do. I wish you all the best with the character. I hope to witness this Righteous Fury...>.>

Re: Mithril Armor
I think GM at smithing armour should give you +3, this is a rare feat in itself. Getting ahold of this armor is another thing, once people catch wind of this. yeah, anyhow I think PC created items should be better than ones within the game as well. Input given!

Re: Kismet Costs for Rogues, Thieves and Bards
Sorry for being quiet, after initiating the conversation. First off I want to say thanks to Elerian for bringing up some very valid points and I know is a well role played thief character. Second, I feel thieves have to roleplay as well, their repuation is being able to get ahold of rare items. I kn...

Kismet Costs for Rogues, Thieves and Bards
Alright so I have been sitting here and attempting to better myself at scribe, and I have been thinking of the requirements for some of our more advanced classes. IE: Thieves and Bards for the rogue class. Right now as it stands the cost is 200 kismet. While yes, 200 hours is a lot, well it isn't if...

Re: MUD from android phone
Yeah, Blowtorch is alright but it is difficult. It has an easy repeat and can scroll through previous commands though. RP is slow with it though. I have tried to play from work and it doesn't work well for me.

Re: Necromage
First, I commend the tenacity to tackle such an abstract and difficult character concept. Second, remember that during this time all these acts would be considered socially taboo. Second, there are zombie minions in the game that are outside of the necromancer's guild, these must be found IC of cour...
