Re: Mount murder
He said he can't post here for some reason, he can view, but IE wont let him post. I recommended getting Firefox to him, but so far he wasn't convinced. And to Mask, I was told that someone mounted the horse and deliberately rode away with it and went to those hostile mobs. I do not know how far he ...

Re: Mount murder
Well, Nelix did say that he had suspicions about who had done it, and there was rp of some sort of rivalry between them, but he didn't tell me who because he didn't seem to know for sure. Anyway, I'll try to get Nelix to bring up the correct details, but when he was complaining about what happened t...

Re: Mount murder
A couple corrections I was asked to make: I was corrected, apparently the second horse wasn't killed, just stolen. I misunderstood him there The other thing I was asked to say was that the person he spoke to using ask said mounts fair game, not that it was his fault. Though, in my mind there's not m...

Re: Mount murder
So, someone lost two mounts in the same fashion: "stolen and killed in Westgate"? What was the timeline like here? If two mounts were stolen and killed within 24 RL hours, that comes off a bit extreme to me. Over several RL weeks, I can see possible reasoning behind it. Either way, mounts...

Mount murder
I've not been on lately because I've been busy, but I talked to the guy that plays Nelix and apparently someone stole his horse, rode it into the westgate carnival and got the undead there to kill it. When he found the horse there, he got another horse only to have that one stolen and killed in the ...

Re: Leatherworking/armorsmithing expansion
Like the foaming mug for the battlehammer clan or elven designs or leaves or trees, generic stuff that adds to variety while not replacing trademarks. Also, doesn't trademark only work with Masterwork quality things?I've never seen a trademarked item in my possession yet, but I imagine that the long...

Re: Leatherworking/armorsmithing expansion
A number of craftables, like barding and woodworking containers, were not carried over into the new crafting system. I cannot recall the reasons we discussed on testport when we decide it. That is a question better left for Mask, or anyone with a better memory than me that was on at that time. Not ...

Re: Leatherworking/armorsmithing expansion
Barding was a craftable by armorsmiths, once upon a time. Gilain crafted quite a few sets over the years for folks. It, along with most containers, did not make the cut when we shifted over to the new crafting system. I cannot remember the reasons, off-hand, though. Maybe someone that has better me...

Leatherworking/armorsmithing expansion
Just a couple ideas I had. Here goes. Could leatherworking be expanded to create saddles, saddle blankets, and saddlebags, and could armorsmithing be expanded for player made barding, saddlechests, and horseshoes?

Re: Luck
Yeah, but if you are wearing a dozen such trinkets all with the same bonus to luck, and one with a different bonus to luck, then you only really gain from wearing 2 of the pieces, so just being able to use identify to figure out whats right to wear and what's just clutter can be a huge help. I mean,...

Re: Luck
Well, either luck needs to be somehow viewable, or as you suggested, identify needs to tell us the level of luck bonus. Either would make me happy.Selveem wrote:Trust me, I'm aware.
Like I said, I'd suggest asking for that to be changed.

Re: Luck
As I know it, luck was intentionally left out of the score sheet. I think your query would be best requested to know how much an item affects your luck via identify, not your score changes. It brings up another subject, really. I'd like items to be only as useful as their base item until identified...

Luck
Any chance luck could be added to scoresheets or viewed with another command? Luck can't be raised like other skills, so it would be nice to see just how much various items affect luck Thanks.

Oh, I thought you could only have two pets or one pet and one cart. Okay, that is good news, but still I think for rp purposes that might still be a good change.Brar wrote:You can have 2 pets (hence 2 mounts if you choose so) and 1 cart already

Re: Mounting
If I want a big cart to haul lots of ore, I need a large mount to pull it, so unless were allowed to start getting two mounts AND a cart, my dwarf will have to ride a big horse, so I just thought it would feel more in character if I could have my horse rest, then mount, then have it get up again.

Mounting
As the playing of a couple dwarves now, something has occurred to me, we can't mount while a horse is resting. For a full-sized horse it just wouldn't make sense for one of the wee folk of the realms to hop ten feet in the air and land in the saddle. I suggest that shorter races be allowed to mount ...

Re: Polymorph MV and HP
Correct, hp and mv are unaffected. However, stats do impact things like hp/mv regeneration. Without looking, I think resistances are changed. I want to say my troll form suffered more from acid arrow, but cannot recall off-hand. Put simply a transmuter benefits greatly from high con score. Thanks

Re: Spell Mastery Feats
Sorry, I was misunderstood. I was talking about the quoted post in my comment mostly. The only part related to the OP was good ideas often fall apart when you think about balance and abuse opportunities, like disintegrate without components. I see. Yes, abuse is a factor to be taken into ...

Re: Spell Mastery Featsis
I understand it can be limited to certain spells as the trainers can be limited. Thing is... I don't know... but weapon focus gives +1 hit. Your feat increases the number of times you can memorize the spell... seems far more powerful too me. +1 seems a lot to me... so +3 seems far too much plus it ...
