Kismet Requirements
Hey guys. I noticed that at character creation there is a 200 kismet requirement for making an evil character. I think that this requirement should fall into the accumulated kismet category. If you already made 200 kismet (the kismet for making an evil character is not taken from your account but ra...

Invokers
In the help files it talks about invokers needing a high constitution. Does casting a large offensive spell have to pass a fortitude check to fire or does it just automatically hurt the wizard as he is casting? I ask because CON is the last thing I imagined a wizard would need.

Re: Priest build
Ever since I dove into the Forgotten Realms books I have had an extreme urge to make a Drow priestess of Lloth. A combat based priest of course, nothing else would even come close to fitting the characters in those books if you guys have ever read them. I think I could really get into the RP with th...

Re: Priest build
I plan to RP with every character. However I dont want to RP out begging for others to help me travel constantly because a bandit could kill my lvl 45 priest :wink: An exaggeration, but I think you know what I'm saying. I want to make a character that is fun to RP but also is good for more things th...

Priest build
Hey guys I have made a great many fighters and even a few wizards and their builds are fairly straight forward. A priest's build is different however. there are so many different things that a priest needs and I am afraid I will end up making a jack of all trades and a master of none. Can anyone off...

Re: {Leveling/Training}
I don't see why someone couldn't practice a skill like disarm with another Player Character if they role played it out. It would be no different than someone in real life practicing archery with a small group, or practicing with wooden swords to improve their skills. Not everyone in the world trains...

Blunt VS Edged Weapons VS Peircing...
When I think of what a club could do to someone at high velocity and what a great sword could do to someone I come to the conclusion that the great sword would be far more deadly. (Broken arms VS No arms) But in game it seems as if enemies with blunt weapons hurt me far more that those with edged we...

{Leveling/Training}
I would like to start off by saying that I really like the skills and level progression of this game. It is the best I have come across. The only flaw is that it takes way too long to level or train skills. Even if you have +4 intelligence it still takes over 100 hours of solid grinding to grandmast...

Re: New PK rules discussion.
Hey guys I'm new to this mud but have played a fair share in many others. Sadly I have seen many fall into the offline void forever. One of the first things to anger players into quiting is telling them how to play their character. Wizards have strong spells that can kill the unsuspecting in one hit...
