Re: Magic shield damaging
It looks like the cave fisher is using a program to initiate combat. Maybe in the program there is a line that inflicts direct damage to the PC it is affecting? It is this damage that could be causing direct damage to magical equipment. edit: During testing, perhaps this program (which seems to be a...

Re: FK History
I personally think it would be neat if you did this in a solely IC manner. It has great roleplaying potential for your character and for others involved.
This is a great idea. I hope that your reason for wanting to do this solely through PM is not 100% concrete.

In all fairness, the bickering you pointed out could be compared to a sneeze on other forums I've viewed.

Ordering of Spell Affects
This is just a tiny thing and is by no means pressing.
But, it would be neat if spells affecting you were ordered by how long they will continue to affect you.
At the top, spells that will be lasting the longest, and at the bottom, those that will wear off sooner. Or vice versa, I suppose.

Re: Combat changes
I personally like the new system and I think it has a lot of potential.
Also, sorry for spamming bugs at the immortals, assuming they did not get in before Mask made his post.

Re: BUG: New combat initiation code
One thing I've noticed is that if you are flying over ground-based enemies now there is no single round to flee the room. However I've mostly encountered this with giants or larger creatures so it may be intentional. I think that disallowing that was likely one of the main features of the new initi...

Re: BUG: New combat initiation code
Thanks, Raona and Hrosskell.
Sorry for posting it in bugs. I just figured that what is happening may have been an oversight in the code itself (that is, what Hrosskell detailed).

Re: Enlarge Person resisting
I believe that flamestrike will have rules similar to what you are looking for Raona, although, the save is reflex there and not fortitude. At any rate, this makes me a little sad, but it is by no means game breaking (for me). I'm glad to see more D&D 3.5e rules making their way into the game, b...

Re: Lack of Evil
Race is definitely understandable. But when mobs can determine your faith(especially if your symbol is concealed) or your alignment (when really, they probably couldn't unless they had detect [insert alignment here] on all day), it tends to make less sense. But I think this is an issue for another t...

Re: Lack of Evil
For the same reason DnD games rarely are evil campaigns. Quoted for truth. Also, I've run into a few occasions on my evil alternative wherein while trying to search for a trainer for a particular thing(often times the only trainer for that thing in game), I get denied entry to the place because of ...

Re: [Discussion] Amulets of Communication
We could go back to the days where there were no echoes for using the amulet. But as for receiving messages for every mundane thing, we could just raise the stamina cost or make the player character get hungrier or lest rested as they use it to chat. Seconded. Mainly for the lack of an echo. But I ...
