There is a book IG that lists all of the deities along with symbols and information.

Re: Spellblade creation

I'm going to go the Bard route with no armor. Spells to increase AC and stats... Personally, I would take a 5% spell failure for an enchanted masterwork padded armor for the torso, provided the enchantment was worth it (in my experiece the enchantments on armor are better than robes). Even better w...

Re: Its a new world...a scary new world.

Reminds me of when I first discovered polymorph, but didn't know about the 'return' command. I spent a couple of days as a bird encumbered by 50+ pounds of equipment and learned that spell duration is not affected while the character is offline.

Re: Spellblade creation

I think a Bard or a Ranger would be better than Mage. Mages only get one attack and are not a good choice for a weapon based class. Bards have more mage-like spells than Rangers so thats what I would probably go with. Bard, then maybe create a Bladesinger/Spellblade hybrid theme. Rangers and Priests...

Re: Inner demons; which demon lord are you?

Orcus . This kind of gives me some ideas for a new character I have been working on... "Orcus is brooding and nihilistic. He finds some amusement in the suffering of the living but is satisfied only when they are dead. He focuses his anger and hate on living creatures, turning them into undead...

Re: Network Irregularities - Amusing

I'm getting the same problem. The game kept disconnecting for me. I guess I'll play something with graphics until this gets fixed... You can go ahead and blame PS4 as to why I have not been around as well. Too much goodness released at once... I look like the Castaway/wierd ghoulish zombie-creature...

Re: Soldiers and Scale-able Mobs

I agree with Yemin. A scale-able unit is a good way to prioritize the 2 minion limit, but it would not have much utility aside from it being a more powerful NPC than the usual. I think increasing the limit of minions based on charisma and feats would be better. With this you could have a small unit ...

Re: Wizards: to specialize or not

Mechanically, there are a few differences: Mages: Learn/use any spell. Cannot GM spells. Do not get specialization spell slots. Specialist: Barred from some spells. Can GM specialization spells. Get bonus spell slots for specialization spells. RP-wise, there are a lot of differences. Some are based ...

Re: Old Dead characters and Ideas

If it was going to be a background involving denizens of the lower planes. I would go with Yugoloths. They are NE merchants and mercenaries looking to profit and are probably the type to barter in souls.

Re: Ideal Magic Component Shop

I agree with the previous suggestions. Natural components (plant/animal/mineral) mostly, with a sparser stock of crafted magic or less reputable components - this would be your vials of blood, rare/deadly creature parts, and/or other materials known to be used for "dark" magic. Descriptive...

[SPELL] False Life

Thought this was cool and might help low level wizards a little. False Life Necromancy Level: Sor/Wiz 2 Components: V, S, M Casting Time: 1 standard action Range: Personal Target: You Duration: 1 hour/level or until discharged; see text . You harness the power of unlife to grant yourself a limited a...

Re: Hidden/Invis emotes

Agreed, I've always been of the mind that movement under invisibility needs some tweaks. Mostly due to the numerous times one of my wizards would be using a flight spell with invisibility. Since there is the "Someone flies in from X" echo, I always had someone immediately peering about the...

Re: Charm spells and their use

It just seems very inefficient in source. And that makes me a bit sad, honestly- since I love the whole skeleton army necromancer schtick. Especially when beautiful spells like Vampiric Touch, Wail of the Banshee, and etc exist in the stead of "Me and my two SKELETAL MINIONS MWHAHAHAHAHA"...

Re: Charm spells and their use

Don't you have to take part in a battle to obtain XP from it? I mean, realistically if you're farming for gold- I doubt minions are the best way to go about it with spells like Storm of Vengeance, Chain Lightning, et all. As long as you are in the same zone you will get XP from group kills I think,...

Re: New Areas You Would Like To See In-Game

I'll just say towns and cities are a lot more work and could be more difficult since there are a lot of shopkeeps, quest NPCs, etc... Personally, I think the Underdark needs more havens or places where you can regain stamina without dreading that any second a mindflayer is going to 'fwoop' out of no...
