I've gotten leather, but not nearly as much as heavy armor, or light mail.

Rarely ever do I see cloth items, either. I was thinking about this the other day with wishing I could get cloth items for wizards, or priests that I do not wish to wear heavy armor on.

I've run into this problem a few times. I will empty a vein, then start on the next and it will be too high for me, and I have to leave the area, or have someone else come and mine it. I don't know if it has been looked at or not, but you can always move places to mine.

This was totally amusing.

As Mele said, it is accessible, and you can obtain it without a wizard. You just have to look!

I think the Facet idea would be wonderful! I really like that suggestion. It would allow a little more wiggle room, and perhaps a way to work with new gems in lapidary.
