Re: Y tu, Noober?!
I figured that was the case code-wise, but it seems counter intuitive to his "Noober and <PC> are best friends!" being shouted to the heavens. Perhaps he should a non-combatant party instead?

clockwork breathing mechanism with a sapphire dive mask
You get a clockwork breathing mechanism with a sapphire dive mask from a spidersilk belt pouch. You stop using a cat-like, crimson-eyed onyx half-mask. Your eyes readjust. You strap a clockwork breathing mechanism with a sapphire dive mask loosely around your head, its not a perfect fit. You put a ...

Y tu, Noober?!
My best friend turned on me when a bandit came along... Sheesh! Some people are so flip-floppy! A bandit is here. Noober flies in from the south. A bandit approaches you and prepares to engage you in combat! A bandit weaves out of the way of your punch. Noober joins the battle! You evade a bandit's ...

I have some leggings that are meant to be worn over other stuff and meant to hold things. Very useful for a pack rat.
However, I took them off and now can't get the back on my legs. Silly Kinni keeps trying to wear them on her body...
You fit black studded leather leggings on your body.

Re: Tanking and AC
Slightly off-topic, but I always wondered about the reasoning behind this. It's mentioned in the 'gouge' helpfile, but is it not reasonable to assume a thief might smoosh a bunch of mud into someone's visor? Or sap? We allow some reasonable interpretation of skills here in most cases. Would this no...

Re: Saturday night magic
If you opt to do it a 7PM, I'll be able to make it every other Saturday.Yemin wrote:Does anyone have any objection to starting this off 1 hour earlier from now on?
To clarify now it would be at 7 Pm EST instead of 8 pm. Or 19:00 instead of 2000 EST.

A lock is a lock, unless that lock is magically enchanted (which should be rare upon most chests). I am in support of this suggestions.

Re: Embarrasing Moments...
I used to get challenged to fistfights with male elves that have "lithe" or "slender" in their additive. I see those words and it instantly wires by brain to assume that they are female, without me reading the rest of the adjective. There was another time, when I just started pl...

Re: FK Connectivity
And that happens too. I remember Sunday, March 1st, FK was down the entire day. There was an event I promised to be at and my internet broke at home. I had to trek through the snow (because it snows in spring in Cleveland) to the library. When I got there, FK was down. At the time this happened, I ...

Re: FK Connectivity
I had a one-off episode a week or two ago where I could not connect to the MUD or the website. My internet connection was find and I was able to access all other websites. I deleted cookies and everything. After twenty minutes of screwing with it, it simply fixed itself. Not sure what all happened.

Re: Athlal's Stable- no token
Perhaps you should try paying him two gold for a replacement token? He might then be more willing to accept the new token and give you back your animals.Terageld wrote: This happened in Athlal's Stable in Waterdeep. The hostler never returned with a token. My ox and cart are still stuck in there.

Re: The Purple Haze
This seems like a pretty big deal for a place just founded by an adventurer, IMO. There are other inns/shops/dwellings founded by players without as many bells and whistles as this one has without this addition - why is this inn the most special/powerful? This is just my opinion, not an official st...

The primary concern here would be abusing it as a shortcut to pace between areas/cities. It'd have to be were you could only leave to the same area you came in from.

Re: Weapon Size/Weight
Does this apply? http://www.d20srd.org/srd/equipment/weapons.htm#tableWeapons This was super helpful. I was able to see which "light melee" weapons I would be able to use in combination with a standard melee weapon for dual wield. Any way we can get something like this into the help files...

Weapon Size/Weight
Is there a way to determine which weapons are heavy and which are light for the purposes of dual wield (other than guess and check with wearing)? I was unable to find any guidance in the help files, so this is an inquiry but also a suggestion to create help file lists of heavy vs light weapons avail...
