Re: Shar's Offer: Save Oakenfort

Caylin certainly doesn't feel good about it, but I guess I had fun, even though things would have transpired the same without me...and if it isn't over, I'm one of those that called it.

Re: Shar's Offer: Save Oakenfort

I know timeanddate.com seems to be a staple around here but I am unable to visit it. I am able to visit worldtimebuddy.com, but I don't want to force people to change their habits for one person. However, if I am to show up on time I need to know when, right? As far as I knew, the tag p1 had to be a...

Re: Highwaymen

Thank you for the wise words, I am sure I will take better action in the future.

Also V for Vendetta was great; I need to watch that again :)

Re: Highwaymen

Does it make him hate bandits with a vengeance? Caylin already despised bandits, no change there. As far as impacting me personally, I just don't like it. That's not the same as being upset by it or anything like that. If I think about it negatively, it's only because it wasted my training time. I ...

Highwaymen

Caylin was robbed today, by some dirty rotten scoundrel . I'm not sure which section this post belongs in, so I figure GD is the best middle ground. I'm not making a complaint, I just want to understand why a player would take joy from threatening a newbie for a small amount of coin. Most of my mone...

In that case, Caylin will be joining after all. May Garl watch over him :P

To be fair, there are 6 hours dividing west and east coast..I think you're referring to EST though

Re: Shar's Offer: Save Oakenfort

Okay, but even if it made sense ICly to join, which I am still not sure it does, (I don't even know where Oakenfort is OOC, internet says it's a Bishop not a city  ) would it make sense OOCly to join? I mean, will I even do any damage, or enough damage that my contribution would make a differen...

Re: Self improvement showdown!

I'm curious as to what constitutes a 'new' PC. My strongest is only level 19 and he's never mastered any weapon let alone GM'd. I wonder if I'd even get it done in a month  ..although technically you don't need to start from inept if you find a trainer and pump a few gold to get to apprentice...

Re: Tales from the Crypt

Ah, yes I like that explanation. What I tend to do, or rather have done in the past (which isn't a lot) is pray to the gods in hopes that one will listen and show mercy. So far, I've been lucky, I guess. Never have I contacted a stranger from the beyond, because I didn't fathom it was possible ICly ...

Re: Tales from the Crypt

I am wondering how does one 'contact' a living person from the mist if they haven't met them before? ICly, I mean. It doesn't make sense to me unless they are using Speak With Dead and sense you. Even if you've met them before, you shouldn't be able to unless you have an amulet of communication or s...

Re: Quarantine Bingo!

Say no more  I just never heard it used as an acronym before. Maybe among Metallica fans, and even though I love The Trooper and Enter Sandman, I still couldn't know what FTB was aside from a popular Minecraft mod.

Now I wonder how many players have already cleared that slot since 3/14?

Semi-private Roleplay

Last night, as I was about to head to bed, a character Caylin had not previously met showed up and initiated an 'adventure' with him; this was a dwarf named Jarngron. I wasn't expecting it, and I do not know who was playing the dwarf but as far as I could tell we were hitting it off nicely ICly and ...

Re: I'm back, but still struggling

Grenwyn meant, don’t log out of the game in an aggro area. Leave and find a safe place before you quit so that when you log back in you aren’t mobbed by them. I know what he meant, but I was always aware of this...I may be a newbie in this game, but not to online games in general. I played Runescap...

Re: I'm back, but still struggling

I didn't catch that you had quit Sorry I didn't mean to convey that message; when I was saying the word 'quit' I meant before my hiatus from the game due to the html-client/port issue I mentioned. I would have never stopped playing but oh well, no big deal. walking into griffons Funny that you ment...
