So, from the sound of it, this is your request: That a helpfile be created, or updated if existing, to show which guilds each race can become a member of? If this is what you mean, I'm sure that is something that can and will be taken into consideration by the immortal staff, and chances are Mystra ...

To the best of my knowledge, as the guy that wrote most of the helpfiles for the new Races, that indeed Danica is quite correct. The information was taken directly from Races of Faerun. While their skill sets and stat bonuses and negs, most likely have been adapted to better suit the FK enviornment,...

Agreed. Mostly I think this would be for balance. A Cleric of Lathander, resplendent in his rose tinted platemail, would be able to refresh his spells given by his god, as easily as a Mielikkan druid in her leather garb. Codewise though, the heavier armoured cleric takes quite a bit longer to refres...

I think that's what they're trying to get across yes. It would allow priests to regain mana, even while they're wearing the Platemail which their vocation allows. Right now, any armor at all, impedes your success at meditation. The preposed feat, would either, cut that down immediately, or, if multi...

Most of that last part was my mistake, as I believe you are able to send tells when you are dead, even if you do not have an amulet. Though, don't quote me on that, as I've been at work since very early, and my brain is a slight form of mush currently. :) As for the NC issue. Yes, if the spell does ...

It's a very valid question, and I'm sure half of the reason is my own innate sense of paranoia. Here's a scenario. I am a tester. I tend to log onto the game port, and often idle there, as I'm a newbie council member, and this is a way I can be able to answer questions and the like. Now, while I'm d...

Well, Part of the issue for me is that I keep getting this mental picture, of someone being forced into Roleplay they are not comfortable with, and due to someone casting this spell they are unable to call for help to stop the situation. Coding this spell to allow for Otells even while it's on would...

Good point. But here's the kick to that. If you can't remove their amulet before they call for help....how could you cast the spell before they do so? Same principle applies, but it's just a matter of instead of creating a spell that takes this ability away, why not just do it with what is already a...

Okay, my opinion. I am really really leery of allowing any player to spy on another both from an IC and OOC standpoint. I think while this might be a decent addition to the game, it's possible negatives outweight it's benefits. There are already numerous ways that Wizzies can spy on people, that I w...

The problem with that is that clerics aren't really known for their Area of Effect spells, at least in my opinion. The reason one person is affected by an ear piercing screech, is they are the only one that hears it, as per the spell. Personally I think Sound burst makes sense. It's a spell that hur...

Neverwinter Nights, is Bioware's interpretation of Faerun. Forgotten Kingdoms is Mystra and Tyr's (as well as other Imm's) interpretation of Faerun. Remember, every DM is different, in how they run things. While Elven Paladins of Human Gods may be fine for Bioware, in FK this is not the case. We are...

Actually, That's not quite true. There were rules in Second Ed, for Demi-paladins, allowing for elven, dwarven, halfling, and I believe gnomish paladins. That's the rules lawyer in me though, that just needed to make that clarification. As for the rule itself, that's an admin call and it's how they ...

My take. You should view the Who List with a grain of salt. If it's an evil, looking to follow an evil deity, you should probably not IC'ly Rp that out. If it's a good, looking to follow a Good deity, then you can probably ic'ly rp that out. It's a great tool for the Admins, and HP's of faiths to se...
