Re: New website 'Play' page
The Play page doesn't seem to like me. It sends me to a blank white page. Any thoughts?

Re: Talassan Temple
Seems like forever ago, yes there is a temple in the works. I was doing some design work for it under the high priestess. I then got sucked away due to real life. I am basically done with what I had to do, but others might have stepped up while I was away. I don't know.

I think I should be able to be there. At the worst I should be an hour late? The world clock doesn't seem to like me. Is the time 6pm Central?

Re: New Beginnings?
To Dal and Christolph, Good luck in the future, you will be missed. 4. I thought I should put the new idea first.... We have held on to our 'Darlings', our hero's of legend, for too long. Characters such as Elminster, Halaster, Szass Tam, Drizzt, Fzoul and Manshoon... We need to kill them off. Let r...

Re: Suggestion to export the in game books out to the Web site.
No. The problem with the suggestion, as Jaenoic stated, was that if we were to simply upload all of our books and maps to the website, players would be less inclined to buy them ICly. In game Maps are already next to non-existent, and this would open the option to not buy or use Books ICly. Thus, I ...

Re: Suggestion to export the in game books out to the Web site.
Could we password protect them? So if you were to buy a map or book ingame and look at it, you would see the web address and password.

Re: Turn Undead for Evil
I don't know much about this but wouldn't it be simpler to have two commands for evil clerics. One for evil clerics to attempt to put undead under their command and one for evil clerics to attempt to rebuke undead.

Re: Solo Adventuring
Another option would be to design an area. Create a mid-level area. There are lots of possibilities without even having to stretch your imagination muscle. In other words there are plenty of places that just haven't been coded yet. If you need ideas look to the builders discussion boards, there is a...

Re: Dwellings - Unpersonalised?
I also heartily agree with this idea. I have had similar thoughts in the past. There would be plenty of places like this scattered around the cities of the realms. Waterdeep for instance has the Warrens, this comes straight out of the City of Splendors book, it is a unique neighborhood that caters t...

Re: saddlebags!
But its not plausible to have saddlebags codded into every horse. Not everyone is going to use saddlebags on a mount. The original idea behind the post was to make saddlebags wearable by players. That means either adding a location to characters or changing the layer of the saddlebag. So either a ne...

Re: [MECHANICS] Death Timer
I think the option of expanding the Fugue Plane has been brought up before. I don't think anyone is against it, from what I remember. Someone just needs to build it. Then we just have to figure out what to do with the bodies while people are playing as spirits elsewhere... If we give the dead a plac...

Re: Events and storyplots
Gwain are you talking, in your edit at the end of your post, retrurn from the dead? return a taken item? In the case of returning items taken after a fight, thats why I always push for the non-death end to a pvp fight. It, at least to me begs for a follow up rp. To return the stolen swag, save face,...

Re: Events and storyplots
First I will admit that you never did 'advocate' for people to sit back and consider oocly the ingame consequences of an interaction then choose not to interact. But you did say that some are detered by the chance of a pvp situation. Just the CHANCE that it could end in violence or death is enough t...

Re: Events and storyplots
If it is fact the character that is afraid of a fight then fine. But you are calling for the same thing, a change in how the character would behave based on an OOC belief that there is a chance of 'dead and violence'. Oops can't talk to that guy, it might turn into a fight. Oops can't go there it mi...
