Bringing this subject up again.
Why does polymorphing into your own race sound like a bad idea? This could be very useful in some situations. As far as I am aware, this is also a viable use of the spell.
Also, will the spell be changed to reflect the newer classes, in particular elven sub-races?

It would be great to be able to polymorph and select your natural race, altering only adjective and description.

From what I've gathered, counterspell has been disabled for a long time.
Back when it was put in the system, there was an automatic counterspell feature. I can remember using this to successfully counter a spell. Now it no longer works.

I don't think the door should be un-pickable, or unable to passdoor. It would be neat if the spell made the door just act like a locked door, and the ease of passing with picking would be equal to the spell's level.
