I don't play FK anymore, but I still hop over and read the forums on occasion. Thought I would get this website out. I use it for pen and paper D&D when creating Elf names.

All I was trying to get at is that yes there are race specific things, but the fact is we are dealing with individuals. Most adventurers are not the exact, traditional models of their race. This would fall in the good vs. evil RP. I know FK tries to shy away from the individuals like Drizzt, but tha...

Yep. Saw that coming. I was not using current thinking. I had RP with Chameleon in the past and had no qualms with her. I even tried to get her to stop being around the teiflings. Is this bad RP in some people's mind? Obviously since you are getting on my case. If I used the decades approach the wha...

I've had some interesting RP with evils. Now I'm pretty sure some people will get on my case as I was playing a good dwarven fighter and coming to the defense of Chameleon the half drow. It was a fun RP in that I got to see the bigotry that exists between goods and evils. Good characters confronted ...

I haven't played recently, but I do know that my dwarf did not have that much of a problem with mages. That played out because the characters he was around were mages so he was used to seeing the magics they performed. Did I go around using potions, no. But if I was in a party and the wizard said it...

Just a general question along the topic lines, but for the Imm run RPs, is there generally a set level you are looking at for the characters to be? Table Top has the nice benefit of having the recommended level listed. I've been hesitant to join some of the RPs I've heard about, as all but one of my...

Spellcasting Prodigy
How exactly does the Spellcasting Prodigy work now? Seems like the new spell system made this feat completely useless, as it got rid of the mana system. That is unless it now gives you an extra 1st level or so. Spellcasting prodigy feat ========================= You have an exceptional gift for magi...

Then what about a compromise? The Strong Arm feat is currently a Mithril Hall only feat that allows dwarves to use medium weapons one handed. If this was changed to a Dwarf only, instead of Mithril Hall only, then it would essentially accomplish the same thing in regards to weapons. I understand ful...

I would have to wonder though why code something that seems to be already there? Obviously you are already decapitating the enemies, and there already is an Improved Critical feat. I've personally seen it happen in game to another character who still had around 30% life when he got decapitated by a ...

I know these aren't priority changes or anything, but I do like the idea of them. 1) Sizing. Dwarves in all the RPGs I've played in are considered Medium creatures. It feels silly for my dwarf to be going around with a Large Gleaming Battleaxe which I had to resize down to small so I could use one-h...
